Cappuccino Machine

By Paige Thompson

Cappuccino is a wonderful Italian beverage prepared with espresso coffee, hot milk and milk foam. It is normally served in a porcelain cup; this is because these cups have a much better heat preservation compared to a normal mug or glass. The foam that stays on the top of the cappuccino works as an insulator to help preserve the heat of the drink, letting it stay hotter for much longer. Keep in mind that cold cappuccino doesn't taste as good as hot cappuccino!

There are many different kinds of cappuccino machines available for home use as well as use in a restaurant. And if you are looking for a particular brand it should be fairly easy to find, since the names of brands are usually listed in alphabetical order. Although, all these machines are great, some may find it easier to work with the smaller ones, because it has less buttons and appears less confusing, where as others will prefer to use the big ones. The only important thing is to know how to operate what you choose.

For those that like to use the smaller cappuccino machines, this classic machine is excellent. It is very reliable, and it includes a thermo-block heating system that prevents any water from escaping during use. This machine is made to accommodate a regular round espresso pod, has an 18 bar power pump and a filter holder that self-locks; the 40oz water container is removable and it has an automatic closing valve and a high-speed setting for hot water. This machine allows you to make a fresh hot cup of tea in just over thirty seconds.

There are two important facts that need to be remembered when using a dual frother as the metal cylinder only has two functions;

You can froth and steam provided that the metal sleeve is pointed downward.

The metal cylinder is designed to remain on the tip of the black frother. The air and the hot steam are inserted straight into the milk; this is what makes the best cappuccino!

If you only want to steam, the metal sleeve should point upward.

No air will be inserted into the milk, just the hot steam and this is what makes an ideal latte.

One of the slightly bigger ones is the semi-automatic machine. It is vigorously heated by circulating water that's drawn off the boiler. It is equipped with a 1550 watt heating element, a 2 liter boiler, the walls of which are 1/8" thick for safety, a 1 gallon water reservoir, and also a removable drip tray.

So, no matter if you are envisioning placing it in your home or in your restaurant, you will love this machine. With such a variety of cappuccino machines to choose from, you will certainly find the right one for your needs.
