The Health Benefits Of Food You've Always Thought Of As Unhealthy

Many kinds of food now which are considered to be unhealthy before are proven to be beneficial to the health of person. And these foods are even not allowed to people who are on diet.

First of all, coffee. A coffee per day is actually good for your health. Minus the sugar and cream, studies have shown that coffee increases alertness and reduces the risk of many diseases. Therefore, if you're feeling guilty for craving a little coffee, don't. Go ahead and have a cup.
Chocolate was also thought to have some negative effect on one's health. However, research, again, has proven that dark chocolate contributes the compounds, known as flavonoid antioxidants and polyphenols, into the body.

The body needs these two compounds built on a certain level to avoid blood clots that could proceed to stroke or heart attack. The presence of these compounds may attribute to the delightful aura of a person.

Pizza may be a healthy option to one's diet given the right amount of intake and the correct choice of toppings and ingredients used. For example, pizza should not be topped with pepperoni, sausage and other toppings that are unhealthy.

It's no secret that tomatoes are really nutritious. They contain antioxidants as well as lycopene. So using healthy toppings like tomato sauce, vegetables, shrimp and fish are better when eating pizza. You can even use a whole wheat crust instead of white.

Eggs are also another mythical unhealthy option. Yes, the egg yolks do contain high amounts of cholesterol but they also contain omega-3 fatty acids and protein. Consume them in moderation, maybe 2-3 eggs a week, and you are good to go.
