Tasty Garlic and Lemon Chicken

This lemon and garlic chicken recipe uses melted butter helping to make the chicken supple and juicy and full of flavor. The lemon and garlic are perfect enhancements to eachother. To bake the garlic lemon chicken meal, the following ingredients:

8 chicken breasts
Grated peel of a medium lemon
Juice of a couple of lemons
1 tbsp . minced garlic (about 3-4 cloves)
1 tsp of dried thyme
Salt and pepper to your preference
1 tsp of freshly ground white pepper
4 tbsps of unsalted butter
2 lemons, quartered
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions To Prepare Lemon and Garlic Chicken:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then clean the chicken breasts with running water.
2. In a bowl add the grated lemon peel, the thyme, the black pepper, the lemon juice, the 2 tbsps . of melted butter and the salt. Mix until all of the ingredients are blended together.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a pan and add to the combo. Coat each side of the chicken breasts.
4. Set in the fridge and allow the chicken breasts marinate for a few hours. Flip the chicken breasts every 30 minutes so that the flavors seep into the chicken breasts.

5. Lightly butter a baking dish. Remove the chicken from the marinate mixture and place in the dish.
6. Bake for 30 mins in your oven. Stir pretty much every 10 minutes and keep on brushing the chicken breasts using the left over marinade.
7. Bake until the chicken juice run clear. Coat with the melted butter and bake for another 2 minutes to get a crispy brownishcoating on the top of the chicken breasts.
8. To serve, place the chicken breasts on a plate. Pour on the rest of the sauce from the baking dish. Garnish with freshly cut parsley and lemon slices.Thelemon and garlic chicken is ready to enjoy.
