Do you have ways of taking your fruits and vegetables? Ancient cultures indicate that fruits and vegetables were eaten raw. They were also made into juices. Noni and mangoes are just among the fruits that are conventionally juiced by island people. Scientifically, juices are viewed with therapeutic worth in healing sicknesses and revitalizing worn-out bodies as seen in Ayurvedic practices. Juices from limes, oranges, radishes, aloe and mangoes are examples with these benefits.

A vegetable-fruit ratio of 5:3 of the daily servings is recommended by the National Cancer Society. Individuals at these times have ignored eating the proper amount of food required by their bodies because of a lot of pre-occupations and that everything has to be done in haste. In 1930, the juicer was invented. It gave very active people an option that considers the health condition of the person, the cost of preparations in time and money, and the convenience it gives its user.

The original juicer was invented by Dr. Norman Walker. It involved making small portions out of a large piece and bagged. Then, everything inside the bag is compressed. The first juicer had some setback however because it was so bulky and complicated to operate. Nevertheless, it made delicious juices. Nowadays, juicers come in various sorts that is sure to meet everyone's requirements.

By the time I was eighteen, I became health-conscious. Since then, I have made many juices. My husband, who grew from Texas, thought I was crazy when I first served him a meal of sprouts on his sandwich. After many years of juicing however, it made a believer out of him. He now knows the health benefits of juicing and eating healthy. We continue to live this lifestyle and reap its benefits. We are now always on top form and our minds are quick to resolve matters.

The body's resistance and metabolism are enhanced when it is provided with the vital enzymes which we can get from nutrients from vegetables and fruits. These nutrients can be rapidly absorbed by the body when taken in liquid form. So choose, which do you want, the bottled one, the canned one or the juiced fresh one?

I usually prefer the fresh green ones like the celery, cucumber and spinach. My partner though likes his juice from carrots, beets and most specifically apples. We start our mornings with a fresh produce drink. Preparation may be time consuming at first but when you get used to this routine, it will be snap.

If you have your juicer already, what's stopping you of making your vegetable and fruit juices? Go to the closest supermarket and purchase those new harvests. Drink yourself to health.
