Fajitas Recipe Dishes

The fajitas recipe has been around in authentic Mexican food a minimum of 100 years now, and in recorded history, the first mentions of it have shown up in records dating to the 1930s in Texas, in the united states. In terms of authentic Mexican fajitas recipes, a large percentage of Mexicans believe that the recipe started a long time before that, with the Mexican cowboys (also called vaqueros) using their leftover parts of cows to grill with the onions and peppers which fajitas dishes are usually grilled along with, to create the plate.



These Mexican food fans assert the fajita dish made its way north and into the US any time these types of cowboys worked on the previous land of their country, in the state of Texas, and once they would obtain skirt steak from the cow, they would grill it together with veggies of onion and bell pepper to create this food, and after that consume this along with corn tortillas.

There are a few Tex-Mex experts who still maintain that the fajitas recipe was first born on the US side of the border, with Mexican workers first creating the fajitas recipe from whatever leftover parts of the cow that the US farm workers would "pay" them as part of their earnings, once the good portion of the cow had been used to feed the American-born hands tending the farm. From there, they say these Mexicans combined the steak meat with flour or corn tortillas, served it with a Mexican salsa like pico de gallo, some guacamole, and a few other ingredients like cheese and some other condiments to finish the authentic Mexican fajitas recipe food dish.

Today, in Mexican restaurants around the planet, you'll find fajitas recipes served in every city. If you walk into a Mexican food bar that serves authentic Mexican food recipes, you're almost certain to find a real Mexican fajita recipe being served to hungry guests.

It may seem odd, but you'll actually find a greater variety of fajitas served in Tex-Mex food restaurants than you will in the authentic Mexican ones, but you will still find the fajitas recipe served inside of Mexico today, on the menus of Mexican restaurants all throughout the country in the major dining areas of the cities and in the streets with the taco vendors who also serve the similar dish that is the fajita.
