Best Cuisines around the Globe

By Thomas R. Reyes

Cuisines reflect the culture. Each region has different cuisines reflecting their cultural values. Furthermore, cuisines are certain to change with history, time and civilization. There are plenty of different cuisines all around the globe. Each cuisine has a special savor and aroma of its kind. You'll get astonished to find how same ingredients with different assort of spices may taste so different. To know about few, I would love to list down an appraisal of some of the popular cuisines like Indian and Japanese cuisines.

Indian Curry:

Indian curries are similar to Singapore cuisines vis cooking strategies and therefore they got their common name as Asian cuisines. These cuisines are known for their rich taste of spices. In southern India, Fish curries form the most well liked amongst spicy cuisines. In reality fish curries are flavorful regardless of the type of fish. The whole credit is paid to unique spices and systems used to cook. To make spice curries, it is as important to keep their freshness alive. Indian curries are favored for their yellowish golden look as well as spiced and hot flavours. Actually most western folk are not aware that the taste and colour of cuisines may change from region to region. I got to understand about these cuisines during my visit to India last year. The dishes that taste in south may not taste similar if cooked in north. The reason is again due to cultural and regional differences. One prime reason is the kind of oil used for cooking differs from area to area. North Indians use sesame oil, whereas on in contrast south Indians use coconut oil for same recipes involved. This makes the taste different and gives a distinct flavour.

India has a large coastline and thus, most Indians residing near coastal region have seafood as a vital part of their lives. Some popular seafood includes Sea fish, Prawns, Shellfish, Shrimps and Lobsters. There are various varieties like Flyer, Bombay Duck, Bangda, Surmai and others. Nevertheless fishes do not change the flavour of curries. Actually curries are prepared separately using the best spices. During the end part of cooking for near 10 to 30 minutes depending on the cooking styles, a fish is poured into the curries kept over low flames. This helps curry to keep its flavour in fish.

Japanese Curry:

Japanese curries are dissimilar in taste as compared to Indian cuisines. Unlike Indian curry, a Japanese curry is very tasty along with processed bread. Infrequently, Japanese curry served along with plain rice tastes good. In addition, some folks prefer it with Udon noodles. Unlike fish curries, Japanese also cook pork curries. Usually, pork curries are larger than the common fish curries. In addition, they require bigger bowls than fish curries. Actually Hong Kong recipes differ a lot from Japanese dishes.

Talking about the history of Japanese curries, Brit folk introduced the dish in the second half of the 18th century. Most homes in Japan make curry sauce that contains Flours, Curry powder and Oils. In fact , due to modernization, a precooked curry powder is available too in stores that need straightforward boiling process to be prepared to serve. It is something similar to a 2 minutes noodle pack.
