Best Gourmet Coffee in the World

To actually see the best of gourmet coffees worldwide, you have to research the history behind its success. There are a variety of myths and tales regarding the discovery of coffee and its spread throughout the entire world, some other are believable than others. It isn't possible to know the exact dates, but the first supposed discovery and making use of coffee beans by human beings had been in 800 AD.
As the story goes, an Ethiopian goat herder, Kaldi, observed his herd eagerly going from bush to bush. He tried to view closer and found out that they were actually stripping cherry-red beans from the bushes as fast as they could. As his curiosity began, Kaldi tried eating a few of the beans himself. Almost immediately he was feeling that energy was rushing through his system and he started dancing with his herd.

In 1000 AD, Arabia had initiated brewing and roasting coffee and many Muslims were drinking coffee by 1200 AD. Following that on, coffee had continually spreading all throughout the world. It started spreading in European countries and eventually to more South American countries. As it is becoming more popular, the cost dropped and it started to become viable for the masses rather than just the well-off. The biggest maker in the world is Brazil. Their coffee can be high quality, but is generally not considered the best.
