Do not get concerned in the same boring sandwiches on an everyday basis. Mix your sandwiches with your favourite spice mixtures and prepare something new which may add a bit of sandwich zing to your day-to-day life. These spreads are wonderful as a sandwich or a great spread over a crunchy cracker. Keep these sandwich spreads in mind while you're throwing your following tea party, as well.
1) Lemon Mayonnaise: Glorious spread to a chicken bacon sandwich.
Ingredients:
1 c. Mayo
2 Tbsp. Sour cream
1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon zest
2 tsp. Coarse-grain mustard
2 tsp. Fresh squeezed lemon juice
Inside a medium bowl mix together lemon juice, mustard, zest, sour cream, mayonnaise and pepper and salt to taste.
2) Orange Cream Cheese
Ingredients:
2 (8-ounce) packages fell cream cheese
2 Large spoons sugar
Zest from 2 oranges
1-2 Tablespoons Grand Marnier
Whip the cream cheese inside a food processor till smooth. Add in Grand Marnier, sugar and rasped zest. Mix until fluffy and the sugar melts, consistently scraping down the sides. Spoon within a serving bowl then refrigerate overnite.
Substitutions:
Lemon Cream Cheese: Utilise lemon liquor and lemon zest
Tangerine Cream Cheese: Utilize tangerine zest rather than orange
3) Raspberry Cream Cheese
Ingredients:
2 (8-ounce) packages dropped cream cheese
2 Big spoons sugar
1 c. Frozen or fresh thawed raspberries
1-2 Large spoons raspberry spirits
Whip the cream cheese within a blender or a food processor until it is smooth. Add six to eight raspberries. Add raspberry spirits and sugar. Blend until fluffy and the sugar melts, consistently scraping down the sides. Spoon within a serving bowl then freeze overnight.
4) Chicken Crunch Spread
Boil a complete chicken then pull the meat off the bones inside pieces.
2 c. Sour cream
0.5 teaspoon poultry seasoning
3 ounces cream cheese
half cup dried figs, chopped
quarter cup minced mixed nuts
1 little spoon thinly chopped candied ginger
Mix cream cheese with the chicken spread, nuts, dried figs, and candied ginger. Use this as a filling for sandwiches.
5) Olive Cheese Spread: Can be served as a sandwich spread on crusty French rolls or bagels, or as an appetizer cracker spread.
Ingredients:
8 ounce package softened cream cheese
1 c. Muenster cheese, shredded
0.25 c. Parmesan cheese, rasped
2 tablespoons softened butter
4 ounce can of sliced and drained pitted olives
Blend butter and cheeses in a large bowl then blend till smooth. Stir the olives in. Chill two hours to mix the flavours.
