Microwave half a cup of semi sweet chocolate until it has reached the melting point. This will take about two minutes to accomplish and see to it that you stir it very well before using. Try dipping pretzels that are low in sodium in the melted chocolate until they are coated and then place them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet in one layer. Let them cool totally at room temperature or stick them in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

Cook delicious caramel corn! You may think that there is no way that caramel corn can be great for you as it is so high in sugar and calories. Fix this nutritious recipe instead. In a large pot, you should melt two tablespoons of butter and then add in two tablespoons of brown sugar, one tablespoon of water and a quarter teaspoon of kosher salt. Use a whisk to blend all the ingredients and then dump roughly seven cups of air popped popcorn. If you like lightly salted peanuts, mix in about an ounce of those also. Stir until the popcorn and peanuts (if you decided to put them) are thoroughly coated and then let all of it cool before you try to eat it.

If you don't mind doing some research, you can find many snack recipes that are low on bad ingredients, have fewer calories but that still taste so good. There are all kinds of selections for super healthy and yummy snacks out there. You only need to have patience to search them out and fix them yourself. Staying healthy doesn't need to be a trial.
