Having a gourmet dark chocolate as a gift for someone is a good alternative than giving them milk chocolates. A cacao bean was picked, dried, roast, fermented, grind and so much more. You can see many of these in the Central and South America and in Mexico and has been growing these for three millenniums already. The flavors will be released if the fermentation has been made.

They have a bittersweet or semisweet taste and usually, the kids do not like it. Based on several labs, eating the darker ones can help you with different ailments.

The doctors said that by eating this, it can help lower the blood pressure. The darker ones has a substance that acts as an antioxidant called flavonoids. The flavonoids act as the fighter of free radicals caused by digesting food or when you are exposed in smoke and sunlight. It can also help the body prevent bad cholesterol by ten percent.

The flavonoids, based on a researcher, can also fight UV rays that can cause skin cancer. Usually, if you are feeling sad or brokenhearted you eat sweets and chocolates. Unlike milk chocolates, the darker ones act as anti depressants.

Infusions of different wines and fruits with chocolates are called gourmets. There is a website offering different kinds of gourmet sweets. After choosing the sweets, you can have them packed in box then send them as a gift to a loved one. Cookies n Cream has a smooth spotted outer shell and a crunchy filling on the inside. The raspberry flavor mixed with the darker sweets has an interesting fruity and chocolaty taste in it.

Mint chocolate chip has the old ice cream parlor like taste and it also has mini chips. The Florida orange is a mix of white and orange juice for the inside and dark shell at the outside. Try this jalapeno infused chocolate. It was a mix of real jalapeno pepper and darker ones for a sweet and hot sensation.
