Champagne for Parties

Every party should have champagne ready. You don't have to open a champagne bottle only several times per year at major occasions. It's not like you're buying the most expensive champagne, is it? There are lots of sorts of champagne just for parties. In this article you'll find out how to enjoy champagne at every party. First, we'll talk about champagne brands and which suit best. Secondly, we'll write about what to eat with champagne and lastly, we'll write about how to make champagne mixtures.

There are many champagne brands, but some are more suitable for a party. You don't have to buy an expensive Vintage champagne at each party, unless you have a rather rich lifestyle, but you can buy a great champagne house like Moet et Chandon for about $11 per bottle. For a regular party, purchasing a case (6 bottles) will be enough. Pick different types of champagne. Choose Blanc de Blanc, which is quite frequent; don't miss a Rose and a Sec. How many bottles of champagne you're going to get of each sort is up to you to settle.

Get some food that goes well with the bubbly drink. Do-it-yourself food would be perfect, only make sure you add some of these: seafood (salmon, oysters), a good cheese, sweets (fruits, muffins, ice-cream, cake). If you want to get inventive make some homemade chocolate and if you want to add more sophistication to the table, bring some caviar. Moreover, you can bringchicken, turkey, chinese food. Avoid meat and pork, these don't call for champagne.

Let people self-serve. Place the foods next to the ice buckets where you keep the champagne bottles. Start with oysters and a Brut champagne and keep the Rose for the afters. In between, you should prepare some cocktails. The bubbly taste of champagne is perfect for cocktails. Mix some juice with champagne and add some fresh fruit pulp for some yummy cocktails. Make a Bellini cocktail by blending peach puree (or juice) with champagne. Traditionally, a Bellini is been made with Prosecco. So if you're into traditional cocktails, have a bottle of Prosecco ready.

It's easy to throw a champagne party when you know to select several top champagne brands without making a hole in your budget. You can have a very cute party with quality champagne without having to buy the most expensive champagne at your supermarket.
