Chicken Cordon Bleu: The Delicious Food

Chicken cordon bleu is believed to be a traditional French dish made of pounded boneless chicken breasts folded inside pork together with swiss mozarella or bleu cheese. Additional elements of this classic Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe include bread crumbs, ham, olive oil, pepper, salt and flour.

One of the recognized recipes involving boneless chicken is Chicken Cordon Bleu which is created from chicken breast squashed and rolled around soft cheese just like Swiss cheese or maybe mozzarella together with pork meat. Though its label has a french source, it is thought to be an American creation that has a combination both Chicken Kiev and Schnitzel.

Chicken cordon bleu which actually signifies Blue Ribbon in English was first made common in america about 1967. The chicken breast can be pounded with a mallet to about 1/4 inch thickness. A slim portion of ham is then put on the pounded chicken and also thin peel of swiss cheese. The chicken breast is then rolled up and then dredged with flour evenly and dipped into a finely beaten egg batter. This is eventually coated together with breadcrumbs and fried inside hot olive oil.

This kind of menu can be baked. A number of people would prefer to make use of bacon rather than ham. In Islamic countries, pork is generally replaced with ground beef to meet up with the halal requirement.
