Whenever I think about giving someone a really special Christmas gift, I first ask myself: do they drink coffee? If the answer is yes, I typically try to go for buying them a bag of specialty gourmet coffee beans. If you are a coffee drinker than you probably know you can never have too much coffee! For instance, Starbuck's are around every corner and go through millions of coffee beans - are they truly considered gourmet? I'm not sure on that one, but I do love a good Starbuck's drink regardless if they are considered gourmet or not.
Another specialty coffee store that any west coast person loves is Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Now, I found something so addicting and wonderful about them. I would walk to work from the parking garage everyday when I worked in downtown Los Angeles. On the way I would notice the Coffee Bean store. I usually stopped in for a morning Mocha, Cappuccino or Chai Tea. I feel like they truly do offer a wonderful selection of specialty gourmet coffee.
Yes, you read that right. The Civet animal, which is very rodent-like, eats the coffee then passes it out in its feces. Although, it eats the beans they are passed through the digestive tract whole and come out, just as they went in. The Civet eats all types of beans for your drinking pleasure:
