White wine is special at during any time of year, but it's especially welcome and refreshing during the warmer months of the year. However, with the autumn months upon us, white is not only very appropriate for upcoming autumn and winter meals, but it can be part of the meal as well. The reason for this is because these wines offer up a distinct fruity and floral taste without being overpowering.
This is especially important for certain dishes. It's important when cooking with wine that the meals are balanced. This means that the wine's aromas come through without getting lost in the herbs and spices. At the same time, the person eating the dish want to feel as if they are in fact eating the dish that they are preparing to eat and not eating the solid version of a bottle of wine! However it's easy, buy white wine and use it to cook! With that, here is a look at five tasty white wine recipes.

Roasted Chicken With Garlic And White Wine: This is an extremely simple meal that will be very welcome on the table in the coming months. The cook simply pours white wine over the chicken that has been seasoned with garlic cloves. The cook can also make a sauce of chicken broth, herbs, spices, citrus, and garlic. To this, they could add white wine. The chicken would cook in the broth and come out moist and rich in flavor.

Clams And Linguini: This is a classic pasta dish. The clams are simply cooked in the shell and doused in wine. Garlic and herbs are added to the wine sauce and then the whole mixture is poured over a steaming hot dish of fresh pasta. Fresh parmesan is sprinkled on top of the pasta to create a rich and delicious seafood dish.
