In the previous tutorial we have discussed what are MFA sites and I have given you two methods to remove it.
The first one is not possible as AdsBlackList is not accepting new registrations.
So in this tutorial I have discussed about Google preview tool to remove MFA sites.
What is Google Preview tool?
Its just a script which gives us the url’s of the sites running Ads on our sites.
Installing the Google Preview Tool?
Google Preview Tool is designed to work with IE browser that means it works only in the windows based environment .To install the Google preview tool in your desktop ,the following steps to be followed.
Navigate to the Google preview tool download page on your Internet Explorer browser Google preview tool
Then you will be asked to “Save” or “Run” the document.
Don’t be panic about the security warning, Google is the reliable and secured information source so just download and save the document. When saving the file be sure to save the file with “.reg” extension
For Example: adsensepreviewtool.reg
Install the tool by running the file , then the dialog box will opens about the warning message of “Values going to be added with Registry” . Just ignore the warning message and press “yes” button so that it will be added to your registry.
That’s all now the Google preview tool has been enabled with your IE browser.
You can find the “Google Adsense Preview Tool” by right clicking the mouse
Now lets begin our analysis, First navigate to your website or page where you have find suspicious MFA sites listed with Google Adsense and click the” Google Adsense Preview Tool” option.
That will brings you the “ popup Window” which displays the lists of websites being served the advertisements through Adsense on the particular page.
Just select the all the websites and press “Show Selected URLS” option
This will provides the list of URLS, just copy the list in to a text file and save.
Continue the process in all the pages where you want to block the MFA sites with your website
Finally remove the duplicate entries from the file and get the result of the lists .But note that , the list is not filled with MFA sites completely ( may be it contain very few links) so don’t do anything before proceeding with the next step
Caution:
This is not the final MFA websites list so don’t be adding this list with” Competitive Ad Filter “option of your Adsense account at this stage.
The next step you have to follow after getting the list is to compare the websites with the deciding factors of locating MFA websites.
Factors give conclusion about suspicious MFA sites
1.Hosted on free servers and blog platforms
2.Websites using numerals, hyphens and inappropriate words in their domain names
3.Linking with other suspicious MFA sites
4.No quality or duplicate content
5.Multiple Adsense Ads appearance at the same page or posts
6.Landing page doesn’t have enough page rank or no page rank
Note:Not the single factor provides the conclusion of MFA websites but more number of factors appeared in single website will gives the strong conclusion that is the chances of being an “MFA “website
For Example:
Higher chances of being an MFA site = No quality content or poor content +multiple appearance of Adsense Ads in the same page+No page rank or Alexa rank at landing page+Domain contains hyphens.
You can add up your own value and deciding factor to locate MFA websites.
Just do this process for the complete list of your saved document. May be its time consuming process but it will helps you to save your dollars that fell from your pockets.
Ok finally, you have got the final list of MFA websites, and then the next step is to update this list with your Adsense account
